Frequently Asked Questions

 


1. What do you furnish?
The condo is fully equipped. It has all the comforts of home. The kitchen has a refrigerator-freezer with icemaker, automatic dishwasher, electric range, microwave oven, blender, toaster, cookware, silverware, dishes, glasses, cups, electric can opener, drip coffeemaker, and a corkscrew. We also furnish an initial supply of hand soap and bath tissue. We furnish bed linens, 12 bath towels, 12 washcloths, and 2-4 hand towels, 1 dish cloth and 1 dish towel. We have a DVD, VCR and 2 television sets that are connected to cable, including Disney Channel. There's an AM-FM clock radio, 2 telephone sets, and a blow dryer. There is wireless internet access with a booster device to ensure good reception and speed. 

2. Do you rent Saturday to Saturday?
During June and July, our weeks run from Sunday to Sunday to avoid the Saturday rush. During other times, we have a three night minimum and can accomodate most requests for arrival and departure dates. During the winter months, we generally book long term.

3. Does the unit face the beach?
Yes. The Summit is unique in that all of the units directly face the beach.

4. Do you accept credit cards?
No. We are a small operation and are not set up to accept credit cards. We can, however, take the credit card checks.

5. Do you have a washer and dryer?
Yes.

6. Does the $100 deposit apply to the rent?
No. The deposit is required within 4 workdays after you make the reservation. This deposit is initially a reservation deposit. After we receive your rent check, the deposit becomes a damage and key deposit. After we receive the keys back (which we are going to mail to you), we will send you your deposit back, assuming there is no damage.

7. What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel anytime up until four weeks prior to your arrival date and receive full refund of your deposit. Any late cancellation will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

8. What floor is it on?
Our unit is on the 5th floor.

9. How do I make a reservation?
To reserve a unit, you should contact us via e-mail at RentPCB@aol.com or telephone Mary Jane or Gerald Reid at 706-692-3143 (9am-9pm ET). We will need your name and telephone number and requested dates. We will let you know the availability. After we receive the deposit, we will send you a reservation confirmation through the snail mail. It's just that simple.
10. Will we get a refund if there is a hurricane?
